DNS propagation has been erratic

I have had to wait a long time for Google Apps to verify ownership and activate mail even though I was able to query successfully the p2pventure.org domain through http://www.mxtoolbox.com or http://network-tools.com. It is activated now.

I still have some quirks while requesting through my company's DNS (some subdomains working, some not - and unfortunately http://bfwatch.p2pventure.org not working yet, so I'll keep using http://bfwatch.flexrun.com for a while), but I believe this should smooth out rapidly in the next couple of days.

Plus, I have also to fine tune my nameserver. When evrything is ok, maybe we could use this nameserver for barcampbank.com instead of MediaTemple's.

I think DNS had not propagated to me yet. Because, it is working now...

The http://bfwatch.flexrun.com referring links weer probably from me, because that is the URI I was using fo the site, and it was the URI that I was givign out to other people (because http://bfwatch.p2pventure.org was not yet working for me)

So, now I'll be sure and use http://bfwatch.p2pventure.org, and I'll start blogging about this, and talking about it.

Not sure what you mean.

I haven't used extensively access from http://bfwatch.p2pventure.org but you can see it in the logs/referers for a couple of hit. If you access through http://bfwatch.p2pventure.org, logs/referers show "a lot" of http://bfwatch.flexrun.com refering links. I suppose there is a way to define alias for the site url, but again haven't looked at it yet.

Right now, http://bfwatch.p2pventure.org does not load any pages from this sight at all...

Filtering referers

Just discovered that if I get here through http://bfwatch.p2pventure.org I get tons of references to http://bfwatch.flexrun.com. There is probably a setting in Drupal to filter a list of domains. This note to keep as a reminder that this is a TO DO.
